These linen-cotton place mats and napkins were created from a collage of photographs of sumac I harvested in early winter.  I combined the central spiral with a border of sumac berries and adjusted the color to give them a frosty look.

The napkins measure approximately 17" sq. and the place mats, 18" x 14". The backing is 100% cotton.  Both fabrics were prewashed to control shrinkage.
